ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH
Our Lutheran Faith
What we believe and how we worship.
Faith in the Triune God
We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God creates and loves the world; Jesus Christ brings new life through his death and resurrection; and the Holy Spirit continues to work among us.
Scripture and Worship
The Bible, prayer, hymns, and the sacraments shape our life together. Our worship follows the Lutheran liturgical tradition. Studying Scripture and hearing God’s Word help us grow in faith.
The Church’s Creeds
We affirm the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, and Athanasian Creed as historic statements of Christian faith.
Our Church Family
St. John’s belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We gather for worship and learning, support one another, and serve our neighbors.
